Alyssa has completed a bachelor of Health science majoring in therapeutic recreation. She excelled at her course and gained her passion for dementia through her placements in aged care. Alyssa has a special interest in supporting those with dementia in aged care and has completed multiple short courses to increase her knowledge in the area. Alyssa also has experience with individuals from teenagers to seniors with a variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety, diabetes,  parkinson's, and paraplegia.
